When I met Bob Fritz, I soon realized I was talking to a genius in the industry perhaps one of the best-kept secrets in the animal and human nutritional world. Be that as it may, I really encouraged Bob to put something together for thoroughbred racehorses, as he is a real advocate for creating completely natural athletes. "After years of horse supplements"
I’ve been training dressage horses for years and in that time have used a number of different types of horse supplements, you name it I’ve tried it. When I was introduced to Show n Go I said let’s put it to the test right off the bat, so I picked one of the worst mare’s I’ve had in a long time, 9 year old mare who is so temperamental and difficult I firmly believed she would never leave my barn. After 30 days we saw an improvement and as time went on the energy she put into resistance now was going into her work, she clearly had more calm and focus, she just didn’t seem so over taken by the training. So, what was the end result, a horse that I thought would never leave my barn now has a full season of showing under her belt, she trailers well, stands in the trailer when we get there and recently finished first in her test at Santa Rosa. "After years of training racehorses"
A couple of years ago I met Brad Scott who was doing the field trials on a new horse supplement called Show n Go, he asked me to pick out a horse we could experiment with. I picked a little mare who couldn’t stand up to to much training, and was consistently finishing last or second to the last I told Brad nothing to lose here. After about a month she started cleaning up her feed at night after a work and was recovering much better, so we decided after a couple of months or so to race her and she finished a solid third after a troubled trip. Then we raced her again at Fresno and she was second again an improvement. The next race we could get was at Golden Gate Fields Nov. 22, 2003, she went off at 120-1, by the time the horses went down the back stretch this mare was probably 25 lengths behind the leaders, then around the turn she started making her move and as she turned for home started picking them off, drove to the wire to win the race. I have since put all my horses on Show n Go with the observation that they not only train much better but they’re healthier and happier in their training. My horses are calmer in the saddling paddock and stand up to racing much better, after Show n Go I have zero joint problems which I think Show n Go has helped. After that mare winning her race I am a firm believer.
